EXPERIENCE THE DIFFERENCE

I love what I do, and I want it to reflect in the way I work and interact. Your hair experience may be a little different than you are used to.

• I never double—or triple—book. Your time with me is just that: Your time. I will never shortchange your appointment or rush your service in order to accommodate another client. This is such an important part of my work ethic.

• I strive to always be on time. I do my best to stay on schedule and will never ask you to come in if I am not ready. On the rare occasion something comes up, I will always let you know ahead of time so you are able to make the best use of your time.

• Every haircut includes a scalp massage and a hot steam towel. Have you ever scheduled a haircut, only to find out that the stylist wets your hair down with lukewarm water and gives it a 30-second wash? Unfortunately, so have I. The scalp massage is my favorite part of a haircut, and I strive to make it yours, too.

• You will always leave with dry, styled hair that has been finished and, if needed, texturized. The only time I send someone out with wet hair is if it was a minor change and you insist that you are heading straight for the lake, pool, or a sweaty run. :)

• I include services that other stylists view as "add-on." Every single service includes a blow-dry. Every color and highlight service includes a glaze refresh and a bond builder. I want you to walk out the door with beautiful, shiny hair that is healthier than when you came in!

• To me, you are the most important person for as long as you are in my chair. That means that whatever you need, be it hot tea, laughter, a listening ear, advice on your next beautiful Vermont adventure, or even silence for an hour, it is yours. I have been honored to be a stylist for 27 years, and I thank you for trusting me with your hair and your presence.
